Recently, I had the opportunity to travel to Phuket and stay at the Doubletree by Hilton, a 4-star hotel located in the popular Patong area, across the road from the beach. The hotel is perfectly situated within walking distance to the beach, shopping centers, restaurants and the nightlife of Patong.
Upon arrival, we were greeted by a large foyer and the check-in process was seamless and quick. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. While we waited for our room to be prepared, the staff offered us an air-conditioned room and a complimentary cookie which was a nice touch. It was a small gesture that made us feel appreciated.
Our room was well-equipped with all the essentials such as tea, coffee, and a minibar fridge. The sink was located in the main room and had additional toiletries and a hair dryer. The bathroom had a large bathtub and was also stocked with additional toiletries. The room was decorated in a modern and elegant style which made it cozy and comfortable.

One feature of the room that I found to be particularly convenient was the room light controller next to the large bed. The room itself was spacious and had additional seating, as well as a balcony with a view of the pool. The balcony was a great spot to relax and enjoy the warm Phuket weather.
Breakfast was included in our stay and they had a variety of options to choose from, including both western and Asian cuisine. There was also an egg station, which was a nice touch. The breakfast room was also connected to another restaurant and a mojito bar, providing additional dining options. The food was delicious and freshly prepared.
The pool area was large and had plenty of day beds, as well as a swim-up bar. The pool was clean and well-maintained, making it a great spot to relax and soak up the sun. The hotel gym was also very well-equipped and had everything needed for a good workout. The gym was spacious and had a variety of workout equipment.
Overall, I found my stay at the Doubletree by Hilton to be very enjoyable. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, the room was comfortable, and the amenities were great. The hotel’s location was perfect, and the proximity to the beach and the nightlife of Patong made it ideal for travelers like me who want to explore Phuket. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in the Patong area of Phuket.
