Can You Stay at a Castle Hotel in the Loire Valley?

When I knew I was going to the Loire Valley, staying in a castle hotel was an absolute must. The Loire Valley is home to some of the most incredible châteaux in France, and the chance to stay in one was a dream come true. A real princess moment for me haha!

Just imagine waking up in a centuries-old castle, surrounded by beautiful gardens and vast hectare parks. I can confirm it is pretty amazing! Whether you’re into history or just want a magical stay, this part of France should definitely be on your list.

With so many Loire Valley castle hotels to choose from, I was blown away by the variety, size and styles. Many of these castle hotels, aka châteaux, have been restored, offering modern comforts while maintaining their 18th-century charm. A lot of the châteaux keep original furniture and artifacts around, so it also felt like staying in a beautiful museum. Staying in a Loire Valley château is the perfect way to immerse yourself in the region’s rich history and beauty. Trust me, this is one experience you’ll remember forever.
