Absolutely! Rome is worth visiting in winter for its mild weather, beautiful holiday decorations, and the chance to experience the city without the usual tourist crowds. We were able to climb to the dome of St. Peter’s Basilica with very few tourists. The cooler temperatures make it ideal for walking tours and exploring historic sites without the summer heat.
