Recently, we had the opportunity to visit the Baiyoke Sky Hotel observation deck, a well-known attraction in Bangkok for its revolving feature. The cost to visit is 400 baht per person, which is approximately $12 USD and includes a complimentary drink at the 83rd-level bar. This price is quite reasonable considering the unique experience that awaits you at the top.
Upon arriving at the hotel, we headed up to the 77th-level Observation Deck. Here, we were able to enjoy displays and learn about the building and its history. The Baiyoke Sky Hotel is one of the tallest buildings in Bangkok and the displays gave us an insight into the construction and architectural aspects of the building. We were also able to learn about the history of the hotel, which made our visit even more interesting.

After checking out the displays, we took a separate lift to level 83 and walked up to level 84, where we found the revolving viewing deck. The deck revolves slowly, so there was no need to worry about feeling dizzy or disoriented. As we stepped out onto the deck, we were greeted with panoramic views of Bangkok. The city stretched out before us in all its glory, and we were able to see some of the famous landmarks like Wat Arun and Wat Pho from a unique perspective.
As the deck revolves, you are able to see different parts of the city, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. The sunset was particularly beautiful, as the sky turned shades of orange, pink and purple. We were able to capture some stunning photographs from the deck, which we will cherish forever.
After spending some time on the revolving deck, we headed back down to level 83 to enjoy our complimentary drink. The drink was a welcome refreshment after the climb up and the views from the 83rd floor were also great.
Overall, our experience at the Baiyoke Sky Hotel observation deck was truly memorable. The combination of the revolving deck and the complimentary drink made for a perfect evening.
