Should you stay at Ibis Styles in Ljubljana?
On our recent trip to Slovenia, we chose the Ibis hotel in Ljubljana for its great location just outside the old town center. Everything we wanted to explore was within walking distance, making our stay super convenient.

ToggleWhen we got there, we parked our car next door and went up to the rooftop for check-in. They have parking for 22 euros a day, but you need to pre-book. The rooftop also had a café with drinks and snacks, a chill-out area, a ping pong table, and a kitchen. We even found a terrace with a nice view.

Our room had a modern feel. Right by the door was a bathroom, and next to it, a modern shower with some extra toiletries. There was a double bed in the middle, and across from it, a sink, a mirror, and a power point. On the other side of the bed, there was a TV, and the big window made the room feel bright. Even though it was a bit small, they added hooks and a coat rack which was handy. They also had a hairdryer and free WiFi.
The next morning, we checked out the breakfast options. Our room didn’t include breakfast, but you could buy it for 15 euros per person. They had all the usual breakfast stuff like eggs, bacon, cold cuts, fruit, and bread. I went for a croissant and espresso.
We stayed at Ibis for two nights, and it was a really nice experience, blending modern comfort with a convenient location.
