As a frequent traveller, I have flown on a variety of airlines and aircraft. Recently, I had the opportunity to fly from Melbourne to Bali on a Jetstar flight on an A321-Neo, and I was eager to see how this experience would compare to others.
Upon checking in for our flight, we made our way to the gate and had a brief wait until we boarded. As we approached the aircraft, my first impressions were great. It looked like a new plane or possibly recently retrofitted, and I was excited to see what other features it had to offer.
The airline had leather seating, which added a touch of luxury to the overall experience. I also noticed that there was plenty of room in the overhead compartments, which is always a plus when travelling with carry-on luggage. While the legroom was pretty standard compared to other airlines, the seats had their air-use port, which was a good touch.

One of my favourite features of the Jetstar flight was the small cup holder and tray, which had a rubber base. This was perfect for leaning mobile phones on while enjoying food or drink options, which could be purchased on the flight and were not included in the ticket price. The airline had a good selection of drinks and cold or hot meals, which made the flight more enjoyable.
Each seat also had air vents and reading lights, which made it easy to adjust the temperature and lighting to your personal preference. After the meal service, they dimmed the lights so passengers could sleep, which was a nice touch.
The lavatories were clean and appeared to be well-maintained during the flight. The flight attendants were friendly and attentive, which made the overall experience more pleasant.
In conclusion, my Jetstar flight from Melbourne to Bali on an A321-Neo was a positive experience. The aircraft was comfortable and had several features that made the flight enjoyable. From the leather seating to the small cup holder and tray, it was clear that Jetstar had put thought into making the flight as comfortable as possible for its passengers. If you’re considering flying with Jetstar, I would highly recommend it based on my experience.
