An Air China flight might surprise you!

VALUE FOR MONEY
4/5

Air China is one of the major airlines of the People’s Republic of China with a fleet of 412 Aircrafts.

Recently I flew on an Air China flight from Barcelona to Shanghai on an economy class ticket. This ticket included 8kg carry-on and 23kg checked luggage.

The flight had all the travel essentials, such as a pillow, blanket, headphones and the legroom was reasonable for an economy flight. Although the entertainment unit’s touch screen was slightly lagging for me, I managed to use the remote on my hand rest which worked perfectly fine.

The inflight entertainment had some western movies and TV series, but I found that the majority were Chinese options.

The lavatories size were inline with an economy ticket and were well-maintained throughout the flight.

Depending on where you depart from can affect your meal options. As we were departing from Europe, they had a pasta option for my first meal and shrimp fried rice for the second.

Is Air China for you?

Originally, I was a bit hesitant to book Air China as I didn’t know much about them. In the end, I’m glad I did! I was pleasantly surprised with the in flight customer service, well-maintained interior of the aircraft, cleanliness, and meals on board. For these reasons I would consider an Air China flight again.
