Real Jetstar Review

I’m sure if you’ve ever looked for a domestic flight in Australia, you would have seen Jetstar. Jetstar has been operating flights in Australia since 2004. Not only do they operate in Australia, but they also fly internationally. Currently, Jetstar flies to 85 destinations on 5000 flights a week.

Recently, I took a flight on Jetstar from Melbourne to Newcastle. The check-in process with Jetstar was very straightforward. Simply check-in online, and once you arrive at the airport, you can do an electronic bag drop if you have purchased checked baggage. I had purchased an additional 15kg checked luggage for my flight.

When you arrive at the gate, there will be someone there to weigh your bags. All starter fairs include 2 carry-on bags with a combined weight of 7kg.

The aircraft and interior appeared well-maintained. The legroom was reasonable for a domestic flight, although you might find it a little tight if you are tall.

They had hot meals, snacks, and drinks available for purchase during the flight and the prices were in line with other domestic flights in Australia.

The bathrooms, although small, were kept clean throughout the flight.

Overall, I enjoyed my flight with Jetstar and feel they are a great affordable domestic airline in Australia. The aircraft was kept clean, the staff were very friendly, and the flight felt safe. Therefore, as a result of this, I would fly Jetstar again.
