What to expect on La Rambla

La Rambla is one of the most famous streets in Barcelona. It’s 1.3km long pedestrian street and boasts a variety of tourist sites and essential shops. Along this tree-lined street, you will find bars, tapas restaurants, street performers, museums, and theatres.

One of the most famous tourists that draw cards to this street is the La Boqueria open market. It’s the most famous and colourful market in Barcelona. La Boqueria market is often very crowded with locals and tourist. Here, your senses will love you with all the beautiful colours, food, and amazing aromas.

Towards the end of the street, you will find the Barcelona Colom monument. It is a memorial to the great explorer Christopher Columbus and stands 60 meters high.

After mid-day, the La Rambla street comes alive and can get very busy. Perfect for people watching, enjoying the art and culture and taking in the Barcelona vibe.
