Making money while travelling can be you're reality!

Becoming a digital nomad and earning morning while travelling is the dream of so many of us. The thing is that so many of us have the skills to it and don’t actually realise they’re sitting on wasted potential! So, I dug deep, watched a million videos, did a lot of research and threw in my own ideas on how you can start making money digitally today.

We've all heard it.... Affiliate marketing

Firstly, let’s go through the most obvious ways to make money while travelling, affiliate marketing. Affiliate marketing is when you promote a brand’s product on one of your social media platforms using a trackable link or discount code. If you sell their product for them, you get a commission. There are lots of affiliate websites, such as Share a Sale, Commission Junction, Rakuten, Commission factory, and Amazon associates. This options seams to be the easiest way to start making money online.

Stock Photography

A lot of travellers take great picture or videos that just sit in the cloud or a hard drive. Do you know you can actually sell them online? Stock websites such as Shutterstock, Getty, or iStock, just to name a few are perfect for this. Simply upload them, and you get paid every time from any where in the world  when someone downloads your image.

Sponsored Post

If you have a reasonable social media following, then you will be able to offer a sponsored post. This is one of the most popular ways digital nomads make their income. I won’t dive into it too much, but basically, it’s when a brand gets you to promote them to your followers on your social media profile such as Instagram or YouTube.

AdSense, more ways than one....

AdSense is another popular method if you have a blog or YouTube channel. You will need to apply for a Google AdSense account, which can take a month to get approved. Once you get approved, you can start adding ads to your blog instantly. However, in order to qualify on YouTube, you will need to have 1000 subscribers and 4000 hours watch time.

You do HAVE skills!

Next is using your skills or learn a new skill and offer them online. Websites such as Fiverr are great because you can advertise your skills, such as editing, proofreading, etc. and people will pay you for it. You can do these quick jobs easily. This is one of my favourite ways to make money while your travelling.

Sell something and never see the product

Sell something! The world of dropshipping has made this so easy to do this. If this is a path you would like to take, I would recommend opening a Shopify store and using a plugin called Oberlo. If you consider yourself computer savvy, you can have a website set up in no time. The Oberlo plugin makes it simple to find and add products from AliExpress to start selling today all you need is internet and a laptop.

A product with a long shelf life

If you have knowledge on a particular topic, then you should share it! Creating a course or eBook has never been easier. Amazon has a self-publishing service, and Udemy makes it easy to create an online course! Both of these options will take a little more time to create but have a longer shelf life when it comes to generating income!

Keep you gear updated to reach your goals!
