Should you fly Cathay Pacific?
Recently, I took a flight from Hong Kong to Melbourne on Cathay Pacific. Cathay Pacific is Hong Kong’s flagship carrier. The airline has flown millions of passengers and cargo to more than 190 destinations globally.
I had an economy ticket that included an impressive 30kg of checked luggage. Besides, you’re allowed to bring on 7kg of hand luggage.
I found their economy seats and legroom to be in line with most international airlines. Each passenger seat included a pillow and blanket for comfort.
Each seat also had its own USB port, and WI-FI was available for purchase if needed.
They had a good selection of meals available; however, I had the vegetarian option. My first meal was a vegetarian pasta and my second meal was a vegetable mix. They also offered ice cream for dessert after their initial meal service.
They had an excellent and easy-to-use entertainment system with a good selection of new and popular movies and TV series.
Upon visiting the lavatories throughout the flight, I found them to be well looked after and clean.
Overall, I was happy with my flight on Cathay Pacific, especially the generous luggage allowance for economy ticket holders, the great selection of TV shows and movies, and the added touch of ice cream, which I haven’t experienced on other flights.
Because of this, I would happily fly Cathy Pacific again.
